Established in 2005, Southeast Renal Research Institute (SERRI), a division of Nephrology Associates, is a trusted leader in kidney disease research. With deep expertise in cross-specialty clinical studies, SERRI delivers comprehensive research support across Phase I–IV trials, device studies, dialysis research, and hospital-based clinical studies.
Backed by 19 nephrologists and 10 advanced practice clinicians with expertise in internal medicine, critical care, and interventional nephrology, SERRI brings exceptional clinical strength to every study. Our dedicated team of investigators, sub-investigators, clinical research coordinators, and regulatory leadership ensures high-quality execution and dependable research support from start to finish.
Nephrology Associates features a CLIA-certified laboratory for rapid lab turnaround, helping speed study workflows and support patient care. Our certified ultrasound lab offers abdominal imaging, including kidney, bladder, and renal vascular ultrasounds, so we can capture a patient’s full renal profile in one convenient location. This integrated approach improves efficiency and removes the need for a separate radiology visit. On-site resources include -20°C and -80°C freezers, refrigerated centrifuges, a 24/7 monitored drug refrigerator and drug room, an EKG machine, and a dedicated exam room.
